LOCATION

Hotel Hellsten is situated right in the heart of Stockholm on Luntmakargatan, a quiet street in the middle of an exciting area, Vasastan, which is full of lively restaurants, cafés and shops. The hotel is only two stops on the underground (metro) from the Central Station and a short walk to all central shopping areas, museums and sights.

Hotel Hellsten is situated at Luntmakargatan 68, a block away from the underground station of Rådmansgatan and about 37 kilometres from Arlanda Airport. The area is the centre for much of Stockholm’s media and music industry. Here you can find several record companies and advertising agencies, web development agencies and photographic studios.

There are about 50 restaurants within convenient walking distance from the hotel. They cater to all tastes from traditional Swedish, Italian and French to Asian, Latin American, Lebanese and Iranian cuisine.

From Arlanda Airport

Taxi
Wait for a taxi at the taxi stand outside the arrival hall. Make sure to ask for the price in advance which should be between 390-540 SEK (39-55 Euros). We recommend Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, Green Cab or Taxi 020.

Arlanda Express
The Arlanda Express train takes you to Stockholm Central in 20 minutes. Departures every 10 minutes during rush hour. For further information please visit www.arlandaexpress.se.

Commuter train
SL’s commuter trains to Stockholm depart from Arlanda Central Station in SkyCity. SkyCity is located between Terminals 4 and 5. Total travel time between Stockholm Arlanda and Stockholm Central Station is 37 minutes. You can purchase tickets at SL sales points and at Arlanda Central station. Airport shuttle
The Airport bus departs from outside the arrival hall every 10 minutes during rush hour. The bustrip to Stockholm takes about 40 minutes. For further information please visit www.flygbussarna.se. 

From Skavsta Airport

Taxi
Wait for a taxi at the taxi stand outside the arrival hall. Make sure to ask for the price in advance, which should be about 1500–2000 SEK ( 150–200 Euros)

Airport shuttle
The Airport bus departs from outside the arrival hall. For information about departure hours and price please visit www.flygbussarna.se. The bus trip to Stockholm takes about 80 minutes. 

From Stockholm Central to Hotel Hellsten

By foot
You can walk from Stockholm Central Station to Hotel Hellsten in about 15 minutes. Walk north on Vasagatan. Turn right into Olof Palmes gata. Turn Left at Sveavägen. Turn right at Rådmansgatan. Turn left into Luntmakargatan, and you will arrive at Hotel Hellsten on the right hand side of the street.

Taxi
A taxi should cost about 160 SEK (16 Euros) and there are taxis to be found outside the main entrance. We recommend Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, Green Cab or Taxi 020.

Underground
The underground entrance of T-Centralen is on the ground floor of the Central Train Station. You can get your tickets at the barriers. To get to Hotel Hellsten you take the green line in the direction towards Hässelby. Get off at Rådmansgatan station and take the exit marked Tegnérgatan. Walk down the street called Rådmansgatan. The first crossing street is Luntmakargatan and the hotel is located on this street at number 68. For further information and prices please visit www.sl.se.

Parking
The hotel has a few parking lots available in a nearby garage. The rate is 300 SEK/night and must be booked in advance.
